PC based office door release network includes push button and emergency exit
Workers from an industrial estate had to be evacuated to a nearby pub after a huge blaze swept the site on Monday. The estate in Surrey needed to be cleared, as explained by Christine Brooks, a waitress at the Peacock Lodge pub. She said she had heard that some people may be trapped, and added: “There’s been a chemical explosion and the workers from Hobbs Industrial Estate have been evacuated to our pub, some 150 workers.”
The latest .NET PC based access control multi-lingual systems for magnetic door release with built in door monitoring from Access Control UK have staff safety as a top priority. Among the configurations is Smart Card reader entry with push button exit. A single smart card reader can be used to gain entry to a door and a push button is used to exit. A ‘break glass’ unit unlocks the door, from the inside, in an emergency. Power failure battery backup is another feature with a battery available at additional cost.
