A new Recovery Academy for Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust will be developed with the aim to deliver a range of free educational courses and resources for people with mental health and substance misuse problems in Greater Manchester.

Integrated Health Projects (IHP) has been selected as a main contractor for the new £4 million project. The new two-storey building will house the Recovery Academy on the ground floor and the Trust’s executive suite will be located on the first.

A car park is also part of the contract to accommodate staff and students attending academy courses.

Considering the specific nature and the future use of the building, the implementation of a solid and reliable Access Control system on the premises is certainly a must.
