An impressive new events hall worth an estimate £10m is set to be built at the Great Yorkshire Show Ground in Harrogate, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

The facility, designed by P+HS Architects, will provide 4,320m2 of open span, versatile space to suit a wide range of events from blue chip company conferences to large dinners, exhibitions and sporting events.

Heather Parry, Deputy Chief Executive of Yorkshire Agricultural Society (YAS) said: "We are delighted to be starting work on such an exciting project, the largest in our organisation’s history. There’s so much potential in this development for us, our region and beyond."

The new events hall is scheduled to be completed in summer 2016 and will offer a café, large foyer, offices and dedicated workshop/seminar space, all set within a 250 acre site located on the edge of the town.

Considering the specific nature and the future use of the new site, the implementation of a solid and reliable Access Control system on the premises is certainly a must.
