Construction company Willmot Dixon has decided to move its regional construction office in Hitchin from Park Street to a bigger property in nearby Wilbury Way, in order to provide enough room for expansion and the creation of new jobs, a news report in the local business media has revealed.

Willmott Dixon’s Hitchin office is the company’s regional base from where it delivers construction projects across a range of industry sectors in the northern Home Counties and London.

Managing Director Chris Tredget explained: "We were at our Park Street office for 23 years and during that time the business has grown enormously. We needed more space and I’m delighted that we found an ideal location in Wilbury Way, thus maintaining our historic link with Hitchin.

"We have a big part to play in contributing to the region’s economy both in creating jobs and working with local companies."

Since the company’s office requires a significant level of security, given the sensitive nature of the documents stored within, implementing a very solid and reliable access control solution is something the company should seriously consider.

Access Control UK employs a variety of access control technologies in order to create advanced solutions, enable users to exert solid, reliable and accurate control over the access to specific premises or zones.
