British Oil Security SyndicateThe British Oil Security Syndicate’s (BOSS) partnership with local police has again reaped rewards with an arrest for an attempted fuel theft. Jim Anderson, the BOSS regional co-ordinator, added: “The schemes are partnership arrangements with local police involvement. By establishing efficient and productive local monitoring and reporting networks, crime at participating service stations is reduced while police are more easily able to identify and apprehend suspects.” Mr Anderson was commenting after staff and police worked together to catch a man who drove off without paying for petrol in Scotland.
