New sports centre completed in Oakham

Works on a new £700,000 sports and community centre in Oakham, Rutland has been completed by developers Clegg, a recent news report has been able to find.

The redevelopment includes upgrades to the existing steel framed building and developing a sports hall along with changing rooms.

The scheme is the first to be delivered by Clegg through the East Midlands Property Alliance (empa) framework.

Ross Crowcroft, pre-construction director at Clegg, said: "We’re thrilled to have completed this scheme in Rutland which will boost the community sports facilities available for members of the public.

"We were delighted to be working as an empa partner and are pleased to see our first scheme completed as part of the framework and open for use."
