A modern, secure and reliable access control system is a must have for any new hospital, such as the new 75,000 sq ft build and fit-out project developed on behalf of Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust by Pochin Construction.

The new hospital will replace Altincham’s existing hospital and includes a dedicated haemodialysis unit, a recent news report in the local media has been able to reveal.

The University’s NHS Foundation Trust Chairman, Steve Mycio, said: "We are delighted that our plans to create a new state-of-the-art community hospital for Altrincham have finally come to fruition.

"This development will provide an expanded range of general and specialist health services in a modern, high quality healthcare environment."

Considering the specific nature and the future use of the building, the implementation of a solid and reliable Access Control system on the premises is certainly a must.

Access Control UK employs a variety of access control technologies in order to create advanced solutions, enable users to exert solid, reliable and accurate control over the access to specific premises or zones.
