Construction work has begun on a new £14 million retail development in Surrey, featuring two new retail units which will include car parking and soft landscaping.

Midas Construction is the main contractor for this project on behalf of client Notcutts Woodbridge Ltd, which owns the site. Troika Project Management Ltd has also been brought it for essential services for the project, which is set to be complete by June 2015.

Midas Southern director Paul Strachan said: "This is a fantastic new development for Bagshot, which involves the substantial redevelopment of a brownfield site providing many new jobs, and additional retail space in new, environmentally-friendly buildings and also offering space for another new store in the town."

Considering the nature of the commercial activity set to be carried out on the premises, implementing a very solid and reliable access control system across the entire site is a must, especially for those specific areas where access should be restricted.

Access Control UK employs a variety of access control technologies in order to create advanced solutions, enable users to exert solid, reliable and accurate control over the access to specific premises or zones.

If you’d like to find out more about the range of solutions supplied by Access Control UK, both in terms of hardware (smart card readers, biometric readers, turnstiles, etc.) and software (access rights management software solutions, etc.), just contact us, we’ll be more than happy to answer any queries you might have.
