A new £1m visitor centre that will include a café and will deliver educational information is set to be built at a nature reserve in Lincolnshire, a recent news report in the local business media has been able to reveal.

The new facility at Gilbralter Point Nature Reserve will replace the former visitor centre which suffered flood damage during a storm surge in December 2013. The new building will be raised on stilts to protect it from future flooding.

The project is being funded by Lincolnshire County Council, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and the Government’s Coastal Communities Fund.

Ensuring that only authorized and vetted personnel has access to restricted areas of the premises is very important for any facility of this type, so the implementation of a solid and reliable Access Control system on the premises is certainly a must.
